Our editorial approach
We start with the question a reader is actually asking, then review relevant official health sources and published cancer research. The goal is a clear, direct answer—not a longer page simply for the sake of more content.
Evidence selection and review
We prioritize authoritative institutional sources, systematic reviews and original studies that are appropriate to the question. We compare findings, methods and limitations, and distinguish population-level evidence from what can be said about one individual. When reliable funding or conflict-of-interest information is available, we disclose it as part of the study context rather than treating it as a verdict on the research.
Updates and corrections
We review pages when evidence or sources change or when a material clarification is needed. The source-review date appears on the page and is not changed for purely cosmetic or minor wording edits.
Scope and limits of information
Our content is for general education. It does not diagnose an individual, select treatment or determine personal risk. When a question requires an individual decision, we direct readers to qualified health professionals and established medical guidance.
